This being the first day of the Third Session of the Thirty-sixth Parliament convoked by Proclamation of the Lieutenant Governor for the despatch of business, and the members of the House having assembled:- |

Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor entered the Legislative Chamber and, having taken her seat on the Throne, was pleased to open the Session by reading the Speech from the Throne (Sessional Paper No. 6) (Tabled April 22, 1999). |

Her Honour was then pleased to retire. |
