The Speaker addressed the House as follows:- I beg to inform the House that, as a result of the vacancy in the membership of the House in the Electoral District of Hamilton East, arising from the death of Dominic Agostino, Esquire, I have issued my Warrant to the Chief Election Officer for the issue of a writ for a by-election.

Le débat reprend sur la motion portant deuxième lecture du projet de loi 8, Loi créant le Conseil ontarien de la qualité des services de santé, édictant une nouvelle loi relative à l'accessibilité aux services de santé et abrogeant la Loi sur l'accessibilité aux services de santé, prévoyant l'imputabilité du secteur des services de santé et modifiant la Loi sur l'assurance-santé.
