I beg to inform the House that today the Clerk received the Report on Intended Appointments dated March 1, 2006 of the Standing Committee on Government Agencies. Pursuant to Standing Order 106(e)(9), the Report is deemed to be adopted by the House (Sessional Paper No. 91).

With unanimous consent, notwithstanding Standing Order 53, on motion by Mr. Bradley,

Ordered, That, notwithstanding Standing Order 2, the New Democratic Party caucus be afforded the status of recognized party in respect of all procedural and administrative matters, pending the outcome of the next provincial election in 2007, at which time the terms of the Standing Orders shall apply.
