Ordered, That the Standing Committee on Social Policy may meet on Friday, April 29, 2005 for the purpose of considering government business.

With unanimous consent, notwithstanding Standing Order 53, on motion by Mr. Duncan,

Ordered, That the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs may meet on Friday, April 22, and Friday, April 29, 2005 for the purpose of considering Bill 164, An Act to rename and amend the Tobacco Control Act, 1994, repeal the Smoking in the Workplace Act and make complementary amendments to other Acts.

That pursuant to Standing Order 9(c)(i), the House shall meet from 6:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, April 18, 2005, for the purpose of considering government business.

Debate was resumed on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 155, An Act to amend the Family Responsibility and Support Arrears Enforcement Act, 1996 and to make consequential amendments to the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997.

After some time, pursuant to Standing Order 9, the motion for the adjournment of the debate was deemed to have been made and carried.

After some time, the question having been put, the Acting Speaker (Mr. Prue) declared his opinion that the Ayes had it, and a recorded vote having been demanded,

The Acting Speaker directed that the Members be called in, for which purpose the division bells were rung.

I have received a request from the Chief Government Whip, under Standing Order 28(h), that the vote on the motion for Third Reading of Bill 60, An Act to amend the Ontario Heritage Act, be deferred until Tuesday, April 19, 2005.

Therefore the vote is accordingly deferred.
