That, pursuant to Standing Order 46 and notwithstanding any other Standing Order or Special Order of the House relating to Bill 7, An Act to protect taxpayers against tax increases, to establish a process requiring voter approval for proposed tax increases and to ensure that the Provincial Budget is a balanced budget, when Bill 7 is next called as a government Order, the Speaker shall put every question necessary to dispose of the second reading stage of the bill without further debate or amendment, and at such time, the bill shall be ordered for third reading; That no deferral of the second reading vote pursuant to Standing Order 28(h) shall be permitted; and That the Order for third reading of the bill shall then immediately be called and the remainder of the Sessional day shall be allotted to the third reading stage of the bill. At 5:55 p.m. or 9:25 p.m., as the case may be on such day, the Speaker shall interrupt the proceedings and shall put every question necessary to dispose of this stage of the bill without further debate or amendment; That, the vote on third reading may, pursuant to Standing Order 28(h), be deferred until the next Sessional day during the Routine Proceeding "Deferred Votes"; and |

That, in the case of any division relating to any proceedings on the bill, the divisional bell shall be limited to five minutes. |

Debate was resumed on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 8, An Act to promote safety in Ontario by prohibiting aggressive solicitation, solicitation of persons in certain places and disposal of dangerous things in certain places, and to amend the Highway Traffic Act to regulate certain activities on roadways. |
