That, in the opinion of the House, we recognize that climate change is a real and present threat that is already costing Ontario families, and that Ontario should do its part in supporting national and international efforts to reduce greenhouse gas pollution at the lowest possible cost to families and businesses by putting a price on pollution to combat climate change.

I beg to inform the House that, pursuant to Standing Order 71(b), the Member for Huron—Bruce (Ms. Thompson) has notified the Clerk of her intention to file notice of a reasoned amendment to the motion for Second Reading of Bill 203, An Act respecting transparency of pay in employment (Sessional Paper No. 456).

The Order for Second Reading of Bill 203 may therefore not be called today.

The House expressed its condolence on the death of Gerry Martiniuk, Member for the Electoral District of Cambridge from June 9, 1995 to September 7, 2011.
