Mr. Miller (Parry Sound–Muskoka) moved, That the motion moved by the Minister of Finance on March 29, 2011 “That this House approves in general the Budgetary Policy of the Government” be amended by deleting the words following “That this House” and adding thereto the following: “Cannot support a Budget that will increase reckless spending and waste and will result in tax increases or new taxes, to pay for it. Further, the Budget fails:

I have received a request from the Chief Whip of the Official Opposition, under Standing Order 28(h), that the vote on the amendment to Government Order Number 51 be deferred until April 6, 2011. |
