That the members of the Sub-committee prioritize and return the list by 6:00 p.m. on the same day; and

That the Clerk of the Committee schedule witnesses from these prioritized lists.

Ordered, That, the Order of the House dated November 20, 2014 referring Bill 27, An Act to require a provincial framework and action plan concerning vector-borne and zoonotic diseases to the Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly be discharged, and the Bill be referred instead to the Standing Committee on Social Policy; and

That the Standing Committee on Social Policy shall meet on Monday, June 1, 2015 between 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. for the purpose of public hearings and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of clause-by-clause consideration of Bill 27;

That the Clerk, in consultation with the Committee Chair, continue to respect the arrangements that were made by the Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly at its May 27, 2015 meeting respecting the following with regard to Bill 27:

• Notice of public hearings on the Ontario parliamentary channel, the Legislative Assembly's website, and Canada NewsWire; and

• That the deadline for requests to appear be 12:00 noon on Friday, May 29, 2015;

• That following the deadline, the Clerk of the Committee provide the members of the sub-committee with a list of requests to appear;

• That the members of the sub-committee prioritize and return the list by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015;

• That the Clerk of the Committee schedule witnesses from these prioritized lists; and

• Each witness will receive up to five minutes for their presentation, followed by nine minutes for questions from committee members;

• The deadline for written submissions is 6:00 p.m. on the final day of public hearings;

• That the Research Officer provide a summary of the presentations by 5:00 p.m. on Friday of the same week following public hearings.

We, Her Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Ontario, now assembled, request an extension of the appointment of André Marin as Ombudsman for the Province of Ontario to September 14, 2015 or until the effective date of appointment of a permanent Ombudsman on an address of the Assembly, whichever comes first, as provided in the Ombudsman Act, R.S.0.1990, c. 0.6, to hold office under the terms and conditions of the said Act.”

And it was Ordered, That the Address be engrossed and presented to the Lieutenant Governor in Council by the Speaker.
