That, in the opinion of this House, the McGuinty government should address the shortage of acute care beds in hospitals by providing alternatives for alternate level of care patients which include but are not limited to: an increase in long term care beds; an increase in assisted living beds for Ontarians with disabilities; improved access to living at home services; and increased hospice/palliative care beds. |
