That in the opinion of this House, the Government of Ontario should commit itself to an annual Elder Abuse Prevention Day, fixing a date where the government, its agencies, communities, professional and business organizations, and service providers can communicate a clear and consistent message and foster substantive awareness and learning around protecting our senior citizens.
