Mr. Alex Daley: Good morning. I do not have much to say. I’m here as a representative for Mr. David Blevins—

Mr. Dave Smith: What’s the insurance policy that has to be dealt with?
Mr. Alex Daley: It is a life insurance policy.
Mr. Dave Smith: So if the company is not revived, the insurance policy lapses, basically, and everything that was done with it is a moot point?
Mr. Alex Daley: It will escheat back to the crown eventually, yes.

Mr. Dave Smith: Mr. Lal, it says in your compendium that the company was dissolved by mistake. Did you use a lawyer or an accountant?
Mr. Rup Lal: I used my accountant, Dennis Saxon. He’s a CPA.
Mr. Dave Smith: And your accountant made the mistake?
Mr. Rup Lal: No. Actually, the information was forwarded by my bookkeeper.
Mr. Dave Smith: These things happen. It’s unfortunate, but that’s why we have this process to bring things back.

Mr. Andre Beaulieu: My name is Andre Beaulieu.

Mr. Andre Beaulieu: No, sir.

Mr. Dave Smith: When this company was dissolved, was a lawyer or an accountant used to dissolve it?
Mr. Andre Beaulieu: I’m not aware of this, sir.
Mr. Dave Smith: So there was no search that was done to find out if there were any monies owing to the company, or if there were any debts that the company had?
Mr. Andre Beaulieu: No, there was none, sir. The parents, who were the main directors of the company, are deceased. And the children, who were the other shareholders, were not aware that there was a dormant account.

Mr. Dave Smith: Okay. Again, this was just an administrative error and we need to revive it for that reason?
Mr. Andre Beaulieu: Yes, sir.
