That, in the opinion of this House, the Government of Ontario should recognize that pipelines are a safe way of transporting natural resources which are responsible for thousands of jobs in Ontario and call upon the federal government to fight against the closure of Line 5.

Delete everything after “House,” and replace with the following:

Ordered, That, notwithstanding any Standing Order, the Orders for Concurrence in Supply for the various Ministries and Offices, as represented by Government Orders 48 through 57 inclusive, shall be called concurrently; and

That when such Orders are called they shall be considered concurrently in a single debate; and

That two hours shall be allotted to the debate, divided equally among the recognized parties, at the end of which time the Speaker shall interrupt the proceedings and shall put every question necessary to dispose of the Order for Concurrence in Supply for each of the Ministries referred to above; and

That any required divisions in the Orders for Concurrence in Supply shall be deferred to “Deferred Votes”, such votes to be taken in succession.

That, in the opinion of this House, the Ford government should provide clear direction to operators that the Trespass to Property Act does not permit them to issue trespass notices to exclude substitute decision makers and guests of the occupants of retirement homes, long-term care homes, and other congregate care accommodations when they raise concerns about their loved ones’ living conditions.
