And it was, Ordered, That the Legislative Assembly of Ontario endorses the need for a strong national securities regulator and endorses the Open Ontario Plan to grow our financial services industry by calling on the federal government to recognize Toronto’s role as the third-largest financial centre in North America and therefore locate the new Common Securities Regulator in Toronto, where it belongs. | |
