1.    Mr. Sterling ­– That, in the opinion of this House, the Government of Ontario must demonstrate its belief in the principle of representation by population by addressing the inequity in representation at the provincial level through the creation of an Independent Boundaries Commission to ensure Ontarians receive equal and effective representation as guaranteed in the Charter of Rights in their provincial legislature before the Government of Ontario can demand fair representation by population for Ontarians within the House of Commons. 2.    Ms. MacLeod – That, in the opinion of this House, a joint committee of the legislature, including representation from all 3 parties and former MPPs, should be immediately appointed with the goal of making the Legislative Assembly more family friendly. Filed on December 3, 2007.

3.    Ms. MacLeod – That, in the opinion of this House, the Ontario Liberal Government, should immediately enter into negotiations with the City of Ottawa in order to provide assistance to finally build the Strandherd-Armstrong Bridge. Filed on December 3, 2007.

4.    Mr. Rinaldi – That, in the opinion of this House, the Legislative Assembly should support the Cobourg Police Service, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, the Ontario Provincial Police and Premier McGuinty's calls for the Governor General of Canada and the Prime Minister of Canada to recognize that acts of bravery have no expiry date and award Constable Chris Garrett with the Cross of Valour that his heroic efforts deserve.
