As Selection Committee Co-Chair, David Bogart helps to coordinate the activities of the committee in preparation for the annual Speaker’s Book Award ceremony.

A long-time employee of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, he has helped to administrate the award for the past eight years. In his current position as Communications Officer at the Legislature, David creates social media content for the Assembly’s Twitter and Facebook accounts, drafts remarks for the Speaker of the Legislature, and maintains information on the Legislature’s web site. He also greatly enjoys the history and folklore about Queen's Park, and continues providing tours and interpretive programs to the public and special guests about the building.
