The Legislative Chamber

Ontario’s Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) meet in the Legislative Chamber to debate and pass laws on behalf of Ontarians. The Speaker of the House sits at the front of the room on the Speaker’s dais. MPPs are seated on either side of the Chamber, with the government MPPs always seated on the right side of the Speaker, and the opposition MPPs on the left. In the middle aisle is the Clerk’s Table.
