Debate was resumed on the motion for Second Reading of Bill 204, An Act to protect animal health and to amend and repeal other Acts.

At 9:15 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 47(c), the Deputy Speaker interrupted the proceedings and announced that there had been six and one-half hours of debate on Second Reading of Bill 204, An Act to protect animal health and to amend and repeal other Acts, and that the debate would be deemed adjourned, at which point the Minister without Portfolio (Mr. Phillips) specified otherwise, whereupon debate continued.

After some time, pursuant to Standing Order 9(b), the motion for the adjournment of the debate was deemed to have been made and carried.
