At 5:45 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 47(c), the Acting Speaker (Ms. DiNovo) interrupted the proceedings and announced that there had been more than six and one-half hours of debate on Second Reading of Bill 162, An Act respecting the budget measures and other matters, and that the debate would be deemed adjourned, at which point the Government House Leader specified otherwise, whereupon debate continued.

After some time, pursuant to Standing Order 9(a), the motion for the adjournment of the debate was deemed to have been made and carried.
