Ordered, That the time available to 10:45 a.m. this morning be divided equally among the recognized parties for debate on the motion for Third Reading of Bill 55, An Act to enact the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008 and make complementary amendments to the Ontario Educational Communications Authority Act, following which the Speaker shall put every question necessary to dispose of the motion for Third Reading of Bill 55 without further debate or amendment.

After some time, the motion was declared carried and the Bill was accordingly read the third time and was passed.

Last Thursday, I called the Leader of the Official Opposition to order and asked him to withdraw certain language on the grounds that it imputed motives to another Member. Upon review of the phrase in its entirety, I have found it to be within the bounds of what is acceptable in this place. I perhaps reacted too hastily and for that I apologize to the Leader of the Opposition.
