Bill 98, An Act to protect the health of pupils and teachers against the effects of Stachybotrys atra mould in portable classrooms by making amendments to the Education Act. Mr. B. Wildman.

On motion by Mr. Harris, Bill 99, An Act to ensure that the Provincial Budget is a balanced budget, to protect taxpayers against tax increases and to establish a process requiring voter approval for proposed tax increases was introduced and read the first time on the following division:-

In accordance with the Order of the House passed on December 9, 1998, the Deputy Speaker put the question forthwith on the motion which question was declared carried.

And the Bill was accordingly read the second time and Ordered for Third Reading.

A debate arose on the motion for Third Reading of Bill 68, An Act to incorporate Legal Aid Ontario and to create the framework for the provision of legal aid services in Ontario, to amend the Legal Aid Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.
