The Chair (Ms. Christine Hogarth): Good morning, everyone. It is 9 a.m. and the Standing Committee on Social Policy will now come to order. As always, please wait to be recognized by the Chair before speaking. All questions and comments must go through the Chair.

On the agenda this morning is committee business. Are there any motions? MPP Smith, go ahead, please.

Ms. Laura Smith: I move that the committee enter closed session for the purpose of organizing committee business.

The Chair (Ms. Christine Hogarth): Is there any debate?

Ms. Sandy Shaw: Just a question.

The Chair (Ms. Christine Hogarth): Yes.

Ms. Sandy Shaw: We’re getting a sub slip. Can someone—if we’re in closed session. They’re physically bringing in the sub slip.

Ms. Sandy Shaw: Okay.

The Chair (Ms. Christine Hogarth): Okay? Are members ready to vote? Shall the motion carry? All those in favour of the motion, please raise your hands. Those opposed, please raise their hands. The motion is carried.

We will go into closed session. I will recess the committee until we have cleared the room.
