2) three separate, refundable corporate tax credits for: i. on-the-job training; ii. new hires; and iii. investment in plant and machinery.

Mr. Walker – That, in the opinion of this House, the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services must suspend implementation of the decision to close the Owen Sound, Walkerton and Sarnia jails pending a full public review of the decision, and begin consultations with local stakeholder groups that would be adversely impacted by the closures. Mr. O'Toole — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Government Services indicate how many public servants are currently employed by the Province of Ontario and provide a list of the number of public service employees by Ministry in order to provide a benchmark for the government's plans to decrease the size of the public service five per cent by next March and seven per cent by 2014. Mr. Hillier — Enquiry of the Ministry — In Question Period on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, you stated that in regards to my concerns over the College of Trades, "anytime you want to debate that my dear friend, I will debate that here, anywhere, anytime". The Ottawa Chapter of the Ontario Electrical League has offered to host a debate between you and me on November 28, 2011. Other trade associations have also indicated their willingness to host such a debate. Will you honour your statement made in Question Period and join me for this debate regarding the College of Trades, or join me for a debate at a mutually agreed upon time. November 28, 2011.

3. Mr. Hillier — Enquiry of the Ministry — In his response to a question posed during Question Period on Wednesday, November the 23rd, the Minister stated: "Before we've even launched the College of Trades, we have this year already achieved 28,000 of 120,000. [apprenticeships]". Can the Minister provide a breakdown of how many apprenticeships have been created in each trade thus far this year. November 28, 2011.

4. Mr. Wilson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care explain to the residents of Elmvale what the Ministry is doing to re-establish laboratory services in their community. November 30, 2011.

5. Mr. Wilson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Education provide a copy of the government's rural school policy, including a geographic map indicating what areas of the province are considered "rural". November 30, 2011.

6. Mr. Wilson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Education explain why Duntroon Central Public School does not qualify for rural school funding that would allow the government to keep the Premier's 2007 campaign commitment not to close rural schools. November 30, 2011.

Mr. Wilson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care explain what portion of the $1,408,918,300 estimated to be spent on the Health Capital Program in 2011-2012 will be allocated to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital to meet its urgent need for an expansion that was first brought to the attention of the Ministry more than four years ago. Mr. Wilson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care explain what portion of the $1,408,918,300 estimated to be spent on the Health Capital Program in 2011-2012 will be allocated to Stevenson Memorial Hospital to ensure that it can plan for the expected 60,000 annual emergency visits in the years ahead that will require five times the space that the hospital currently has. 10. Mr. Wilson — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Transportation provide a timeline for construction and completion of traffic signals at the entrance to Green Briar, near the 10th Sideroad, on Highway 89. November 30, 2011.
